Product Overview
ASTM A240 430 cold rolled stainless steel sheet is a widely used ferritic grade offering excellent formability, good corrosion resistance, and magnetic properties at an economical price point. Unlike austenitic grades (304, 316L), 430 contains no nickel, making it a cost-stable alternative for applications where extreme corrosion resistance is not required.
The ferritic microstructure provides magnetic properties, which is essential for induction-based applications such as home appliances and consumer electronics. Available in 2B (smooth matte) and BA (bright annealed) finishes, 430 sheet delivers attractive surface appearance suitable for both functional and decorative applications.
