Product Overview
ASTM A240 310S cold rolled stainless steel sheet is a high chromium-nickel austenitic heat resistant grade engineered for continuous service at temperatures up to 1100°C in oxidizing atmospheres. With 24-26% chromium and 19-22% nickel content, 310S offers exceptional oxidation resistance, carburization resistance, and structural stability at elevated temperatures.
The low carbon variant (S-grade) prevents embrittlement from intergranular carbide precipitation during prolonged high-temperature exposure. 310S maintains good mechanical properties across a wide temperature range, making it indispensable for furnace components, heat treatment equipment, and thermal processing applications. The cold rolled 2B finish ensures uniform surface quality ideal for precision fabrication.
