UNS N10276is een nikkel-molybdeen-chroomlegering met toevoeging van wolfraam, algemeen erkend als de meest veelzijdige corrosiebestendige legering die momenteel verkrijgbaar is. Het vertoont uitzonderlijke weerstand tegen een breed scala aan agressieve media, waaronder sterk oxiderende en reducerende zuren, chloriden en nat chloorgas.
In tegenstelling tot veel corrosiebestendige legeringen behoudt UNS N10276 uitstekende mechanische eigenschappen en corrosieweerstand in de gelaste toestand, waardoor er geen warmtebehandeling na het lassen vereist is. Dit maakt het de industriestandaard voor chemische verwerking, bestrijding van vervuiling en andere zware servicetoepassingen waarbij zowel corrosiebestendigheid als verwerkbaarheid van cruciaal belang zijn.
