SS 304 Brushed Finish Sheet (also known as No. 4 Finish, Satin Finish, or Hairline Finish) is produced by polishing stainless steel with abrasive belts to create a uniform, linear grain texture.
The 304 grade base material provides excellent corrosion resistance and formability. The brushed surface offers a modern, industrial aesthetic while effectively hiding fingerprints, minor scratches, and daily wear – making it the preferred choice for high-touch and high-traffic environments.
Unlike mirror finish (No. 8), which shows every mark, or 2B finish, which has no grain pattern, the brushed finish strikes the ideal balance between appearance and practicality.
