UNS N06022 biedt uitstekende prestaties in nat chloor, zoutzuur, zwavelzuur en mengzuuroplossingen waar veel andere corrosiebestendige legeringen falen.Het behoudt uitstekende mechanische eigenschappen bij cryogene temperaturen tot 480 °C en wordt gemakkelijk vervaardigd met behulp van standaard industriële methoden.
