Hastelloy C-22: ultieme corrosiebestendige nikkellegering

Hastelloy C-22is een volledig austenitische, geavanceerde corrosiebestendige nikkel-chroom-molybdeen-wolfraamlegering. Het biedt uitstekende weerstand tegen zowel uniforme corrosie in oxiderende media als plaatselijke aantasting (putcorrosie, spleetcorrosie) in reducerende omgevingen.

In tegenstelling tot standaardlegeringen biedt C-22 uitzonderlijke weerstand tegen spanningscorrosiescheuren (SCC), intergranulaire aantasting en corrosie van door hitte beïnvloede zones (HAZ). Dit maakt het het voorkeursmateriaal voor agressieve chemische processen, rookgasontzwaveling (FGD) en maritieme systemen waar andere legeringen falen.

Chemische samenstelling (ASTM B574)

Hastelloy C-22's unieke balans van chroom (oxiderende weerstand) en molybdeen + wolfraam (verminderende weerstand) zorgt voor zijn "universele" corrosieweerstand.
