Product Introduction
2205 duplex stainless steel pipe manufactured to ASTM A789 / A790, with outer diameter 21.3 mm and wall thickness 2.77 mm. Duplex 2205 combines roughly double the yield strength of standard austenitic grades with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting, ideal for aggressive offshore and chemical service. The duplex microstructure of ferrite and austenite gives this pipe roughly twice the yield strength of 316L together with superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
Every pipe is produced under strict quality control, with full traceability from the raw coil or billet to the finished tube. Mill test certificates, chemical composition reports and mechanical property data are available with every shipment, and third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV can be arranged upon request.
