Duplex 2507 pipe is a super duplex stainless steel designed for applications requiring exceptional strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. With a duplex microstructure (approximately 50% austenite / 50% ferrite), it offers nearly twice the yield strength of common austenitic stainless steels like 316L or 317L.

This grade is the material of choice for offshore platforms, chemical processing, desalination plants, and oil & gas exploration, where chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) are major concerns.
