Het resultaat is een uniek materiaal dat desatijnen, lineaire korreltextuurvan een geborstelde afwerking met eendiepe, uniforme zwarte kleur.
In tegenstelling tot geverfd zwart metaal creëert de PVD-coating een binding op atomair niveau die bestand is tegen afbladderen, afbrokkelen en vervagen. De geborstelde textuur eronder helpt vingerafdrukken, vlekken en kleine krasjes te verbergen, waardoor dit materiaal zowel opvallend mooi als praktisch is voor high-touch-toepassingen.
